Health, illuminated

Resol Global Health partners with local leaders to lower barriers to care and strengthen community health systems.

Our mission

Three focus areas guide our work with communities.

Reduce causes of illness

We collaborate with communities to identify needs, provide practical health education, and support everyday prevention.

Grow local capacity

We train healthcare workers with current, evidence based practices to improve outcomes and save lives.

Improve access to care

We host mobile clinics, partner with local systems, and support sustainable care close to home.

Chicacao, Guatemala

Our current focus is the Chicacao region in southern Guatemala. We work alongside Spanish and Mayan language speakers, centering local leadership and knowledge.

  • Travel to clinics ranges from an hour by foot to several hours by road.
  • Schooling averages 3 to 4 years, with many women attending 1 to 2 years.
  • Many communities lack sewage systems, garbage disposal, and clean water.
  • Many workers earn about 2,000 quetzales per month, about 260 USD.
